Good morning everyone,
I would like to introduce you to Ai-Da, the first robot artist. She is the creation of Aidan Meller.
Ai-Da can draw and paint from observation. Algorithmic responses enable her to create works in many different ways, and mean that each drawing is unique.
I first came across her in the spring of 2021 and was intrigued by the concept. As a humanoid robot, I took her image and embroidered it to emphasise her human-likeness.
